Cannondale have redesigned their flat-bar fitness bike that is designed for commuting, fitness and leisure. The 2017 Quick has been given new safety features like highly-reflective graphic elements on all key areas of the frame to enhance visibility and a more slack and comfortable rider position. Cannondale say that the Quick is a stable, comfortable fitness bike that is the lightest in its class and with 360-reflectivity allows riders to be highly visible at night or in inclement weather.

The Quick is made from Cannondale’s SmartForm C2 Alloy which features Cannondale’s SAVE Mirco-Suspension. The technology is designed to give the rear triangle flex zones that help to absorb shock and reduce road vibration which Cannondale says increases rider comfort and control. The bike is also designed to be light for its class so it is easier to carry when necessary. The bike comes equipped with handlebar grips that are ergonomic and a saddle with pressure-relief channels.

For increased stopping power in wet conditions, some models of the Quick are equipped with hydraulic disc brakes. All models come with rack and fender mounts to allow riders to outfit their bike to handle inclement weather and help carry the load when out running errands or commuting to work or school.

The Quick will be available in eight models beginning in mid-May 2016 starting at US$400 and going up to $1200 for the top-of-the-line hydraulic disc models.
