City of Ottawa pulls cyclocross permits
The City of Ottawa has pulled the permits of the Eastern Canadian Cyclocross Series because of damage to the grass in city parks.
I suppose in this day and age this was bound to happen, but it’s extremely disappointing to see the City of Ottawa’s decision to take away the permits issued to the Eastern Canadian Cyclocross Series because of damage to the grass in city parks. This is the kind of thing that could set a bad precedent across the country. It’s especially disappointing to see this happen in Ottawa, where the cyclocross scene is booming like never before, and might be one of the healthiest markets for the discipline in Canada.
