Cycling Canada looking for fresh talent through Pedal to the Medal program

Cycling Canada Cyclisme

Think you have what it takes to be a national-level cyclist? You can try out in the coming months.

Cycling Canada is hosting Pedal to the Medal Talent ID (PTM-TID) initiative to find new, fit athletes who are interested in trying to make a name as cyclists. The initiative is looking to find new cycling talents who can make an impact on the national stage. Testing is open to any Canadian who will be 16 by Dec. 31, 2014.

The testing will measure three events: the vertical jump, six second max power and three minute critical power. Interested candidates can expect to be done in under and hour. There are five Canadian cities where the testing will be held. Interested Canadians should fill out a form and mail it to talentID@cyclingcanada.ca.
