Cyclist hit by car in Victoria

Victoria police partially closed Quadra Street in order to investigate a bike-car collision that took place at 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday.

A cyclist was hit by a car on Quadra Street at the Topaz Avenue intersection. The Times Colonist reported that the man, who has not been identified, was taken to the hospital by B.C. Ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.

It was also reported that the cyclist was riding southbound on Quadra Street when he was hit by the driver in a silver Nissan Versa.
