David Veilleux adds his voice to Le Journal

Canadian Cycling Magazine David Veilleux

Retired professional cyclist David Veilleux has taken on a new role in cycling world, as a columnist for the Montreal newspaper Le Journal.

Veilleux was the first Quebec-born cyclist to make it to the Tour de France, racing in the 2013 edition. Later that year, he announced his retirement from cycling to finish his degree in mechanical engineering.

Veilleux will contribute a weekly column every Wednesday, giving insight into the world of cycling. Readers can expect Veilleux to write about the major races as well as the key issues facing cycling as a whole.

The column will appear in French, which will make for great language training ahead of your next trip to a World Tour race in Quebec, or France.
