Two Canadians, Olympian Denise Ramsden and 2012 Tour de Hokkaido mountains competition winner Nic Hamilton, have joined Trek Red Truck for the 2015 season.

Ramsden has been prominent in the Canadian racing scene during her young professional career, having recently come runner-up to Leah Kirchmann in the national championships road race and winning the Grand Prix cycliste de Gatineau. In 2012, after winning the maple leaf jersey in the road race, she represented Canada in the London Olympic Games. For the past two years, Ramsden has plied her trade with Optum presented by Kelly Benefit Solutions.

Nic Hamilton returns to Trek Red Truck after four seasons with Jelly Belly. A press release from Trek Red Truck says, “Part of Nic’s team role this season will be to mentor and help groom younger talent. In addition to racing, Nic will be finishing his degree in kinesiology over the next year before exiting the sport completely.”
