Alex Stieda’s bike touring company is offering a unique experience to 15 experienced cycling enthusiasts who want to “shadow” the inaugural Tour of Alberta from September 4 to 8. The squad of hardcore cyclists can ride five stages of the ToA with Stieda hours ahead of the pros, fully supported.
Stieda, the first North American to wear the Tour de France’s yellow jersey, calls the Tour of Alberta VIP Pro Cycling Hosted by Alex Stieda “Not for the weak of heart.” Stieda was instrumental in getting the ToA, Canada’s first major professional stage, race off the ground.
