ExpoCycle adds consumer day

Annual trade show in Montreal will open its doors to public for first time

The Bicycle Trade Association of Canada has announced it’s adding a consumer day to the ExpoCycle 2011 trade show. Formerly an industry-only event, ExpoCycle will be open to the public on Saturday, Sept. 10 at the Palais des Congres de Montréal. The trade-only event will run from Sunday, Sept. 11 until Tuesday, Sept. 13. The consumer day coincides with the Grand Prix Cycliste de Montréal, a UCI ProTour race taking place in Montreal.

What the cycling public can expect from the show is a sneak peek into the bikes, parts and accessories that will be available in 2012. More than 800 brands are expected to be on display at the event – including many items that will be making their North American debuts.
