cropped-NCCHlogo_Black_smallOn Monday the National Cycling Centre Hamilton (NCCH) announced that five riders from its program have been nominated by the Ontario Cycling Association (OCA) to receive a grant from the Quest for Gold Ontario Athlete Assistance Program. Each year the OCA nominates top male and female cyclists across all disciplines to be awarded funding based on outstanding performances from the preceding year.

NCCH riders who were awarded funding include Jack Burke, William Elliot, Adam Jamieson, who fought for the young rider jersey in the 2013 Tour de l’Abitibi, Saskia Kowalchuck and Marie-Pierre Nadon.

The NCCH is a not-for-profit corporation that formed out of the legacy fund following the 2003 world road race championships in Hamilton. Since its founding in 2005, the program has assisted athletes in the junior and under-23 ranks gain selection to national teams and achieve international successes.
