Team Jumbo-Visma’s Great Dane, Jonas Vingegaard, won the Tour de France on Sunday, but he almost lost it all on Saturday. Following an incredible race in the mountains the day before, where Tadej Pogačar crashed, and Vingegaard almost did as well, the Danish rider still needed a solid time trial to seal the deal.

Was it purely sportsmanship by Jonas Vingegaard or also good tactics?

He had a great ride, coming just behind his teammate, Wout van Aert. But at one point, coming around a fast bend he almost went off the road. Somehow he manages to save it–but damn, that was close.
