Kabush and Batty race Canada Cup #3
Quality field expected at Hardwood Ski and Bike in Ontario.
Some of the top mountain bikers in the country will be racing at Canada Cup’s round three, also an Ontario Cup event, held from June 2-3 at Hardwood Ski and Bike. Geoff Kabush (Scott-3RoxRacing) and Emily Batty (Subaru-Trek) are among the quality racers in attendance.
Batty has secured some strong results on the World Cup circuit. She placed second in the opener in South Africa, seventh in round two in Belgium, tenth in round three in Czech Republic and most recently ninth in round four in France. She is currently ranked eleventh in the world standings.
Kabush won two races at the Whiskey Off Road in Arizona. He also placed second at the Mellow Johnny’s Classic in Texas, won Sea Otter’s long course and finished third in the short course in California. He placed eleventh at the second World Cup in Belgium.
