La Grande Visite de Gatineau

After much planning, one of the biggest race weekends in Canada is finally here. La Grande Visite de Gatineau kicks off today with a rider’s presentation and manager’s meeting with the racing action starting on Saturday. This complete weekend of racing includes the Chrono Gatineau individual time trial for elite men and women, races for the young racers including the Quebec Regional Games Final time trial championship, criterium races for all ages and categories and closes with the highlight of the weekend – the elite women’s road race. This road race (GP Cycliste de Gatineau) takes riders on eight laps of 12.4 kilometer course in and around Gatineau on Sunday June 13.
