Lacombe 8th in Belgium

Keven Lacombe came through for Team SpiderTech p/b C10 with an eighth-place finish in the 195-km Nokere Koerse race in Belgium Wednesday.

The team went into the race hoping for a group finish, which would play to Lacombe’s sprinting strengths.

Though several breakaways went up the road, none of them had the right combination of teams and SpiderTech helped bring the race back together and set Lacombe up for the sprint, which was won by Belgian Gert Steegmans of the Quick Step team.
