Lucas Euser to UnitedHealthcare

SpiderTech's dispersion continues

American Lucas Euser, who had a successful August for the Canadian pro continental team SpiderTech powered by C10 before it suspended operations, has signed on with UnitedHealthcare. Euser was eighth in general classification and runner up in the king of the mountains competition in the Tour of Utah. Later in 2012, he finished 16th overall at the USA Pro Cycling Challenge.

Euser will race alongside Irishman Philip Deignan and the wily Curaçaoan Marc de Maar at the American pro continental squad.

Euser becomes the ninth ex-Spider to find a ride for the upcoming season. Here’s a run down of who went where:

Tim Duggan – Saxo Bank-Tinkoff
Hugo Houle – Ag2r La Mondiale
Brian Vandborg, Guillaume Boivin, David Boily – Cannondale
Ryan Anderson and Ryan Roth – Champion System
Francois Parisien – Argos-Shimano
