Max Plaxton Wins at Bonelli Park, CA
Max Plaxton won the cross-country race and Geoff Kabush finished fourth.
The mountain bike season kicked off this weekend with the H2O Overdrive All Mountain Triple Crown US Cup race at Bonelli Park, California. Max Plaxton racing for Team Sho-Air/Specialized won the cross-country race on Saturday March 13th.
The results sheet for this first race weekend in the series, was peppered with Canadian riders. Geoff Kabush racing for Team Maxxis-Rocky Mountain, finished in 4th place, Peter Glassford racing out of Mansfield, Ontario finished in 10th position, and Kris Sneddon racing for Kona finished in 15th position.
The second day of this two-day event runs today with the short track cross-country race and the super D. The H2O Overdrive All Mountain Triple Crown is new for 2010 and includes races through-out the United States.
