Multiple thefts at Hardwood Ski and Bike near Barrie

Several thefts have taken place at Hardwood Ski and Bike on Thursday in Oro-Medonte township near Barrie, Ont.

It was reported on CTV Barrie that the thieves broke into parked vehicles by breaking the windows and stealing personal items such as wallets, purses, cash and identification.

Police are asking the public to contact them with any information or potential leads.

Hardwood Ski and Bike is a popular and family-oriented cross country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, mountain biking and outdoor recreation area. It will also be the site of the mountain biking events for the upcoming 2015 Toronto Pan American Games.
