Team announces partnership and teases 2017 kit ahead of Monday reveal

Orica-BikeExchange, the UCI WorldTour team of veteran Svein Tuft and soon to be retired Christian Meier, will be wearing Giordana in 2017. The team has seen an injection of youth in recent years with the rise of Esteban Chaves and the Yates brothers leading the charge in the Grand Tours while veteran Matthew Hayman was crowned the king of the Hell of the North in 2016.

Orica-BikeExchange becomes the second WorldTour clothing partner of Giordana with Astana also wearing the Italy companies apparel. Canadian UCI continental team Silber Pro Cycling also wear Giordana.

The brand was founded in 1979 named after Andretta’s daughter. The brand recently opened new manufacturing facilities in Italy. Over the course of it’s existence, Giordana has been the official apparel of the US Pro Championships, the Tour of Qatar and the Tour of Oman. Other teams over history that have worn the brand include Motoral, CSC, ONCE and Cofidis.
