Paris-Roubaix: Terpstra wins, Canada’s Houle finishes

Niki Terpstra has won the 2014 Paris-Roubaix. The Dutchman, riding for Omega Pharma-Quick-Step, broke free from a group laden with favourites with 6km to go, to arrive solo on the Roubaix velodrome and claim the cobblestone trophy. John Degenkolb won the group sprint for second place. Fabian Cancellara came across the line third.

For Canada, AG2R La Mondiale’s Hugo Houle finished the monument 142nd. Antoine Duchesne of Europcar did not complete the race. A detailed report is coming soon.
