Thieves in Italy made away with the entire collection of bikes at 3T’s offices and factory in Bergamo. Over twenty bikes were stolen in less than 10 minutes including a one of a kind 3T Exploro painted by the late legendary bike builder and painter Dario Pegoretti.

At around 6 a.m. on Monday morning, thieves entered the building by drilling a hole through a one-meter thick wall entering the Italian bike companies warehouse. The thieves were able to access the rest of the building by breaking the lock on the warehouse door.

The six to eight masked robbers moved to steal all the display and demo bikes in the building. The thieves cut a hole in the fence that surrounds the property and moved 20 bikes into their van.

The hole the thieves entered the building through.

The operation took less than 10 minutes with local police arriving to an empty scene. The company lamented the loss of the one of the kind Exploro which Pegoretti painted after 3T launched their first ever bike frame in 2017.

3T requests that if anyone sees any of the bikes for sale on the internet they immediately contact the company. The Pegoretti painted Exploro is particularly hard to miss featuring a flashy red paint scheme with abstract colourful patterns.
