Rocky Mountain Bicycles and Urge bike products have combined their previous efforts in enduro racing to create a team dedicated to the Enduro World Series for 2014. Four riders make up the team. Each has had success in continental and world level enduro races in the past.

The roster includes Frenchman Florian Nicolai, who finished 13th overall in the Enduro World Series in 2013, and third overall in the EWS French Cup.

American Jessee Melamed transitioned from the Rocky Mountain regional enduro team in part thanks to a sixth place finish at the 2013 Whistler EWS stop.

Alex Cure, 20, won the first ever stage in the EWS, and finished the season ranked 19th.

Isabeau Courdurier is the youngest member of the team. She won the EWS French Cup women’s division in 2013, and is only 19 years old.

All the riders will challenge the 2014 season aboard a special edition Rocky Mountain Altitude, and wear Urge bp helmets.

The EWS starts with the Montenbaik Enduro, in Chile, April 19-20. Another six rounds comprise the rest of the series, including the Canadian stop in Whistler, as part of the Crankworx festival, Aug. 9-10.
