It’s August and that means transfer season. Canada’s Simone Boilard is changing teams it was announced on Wednesday, jumping from French St Michel–Mavic–Auber93 squad to the Norwegian Uno-X Pro Cycling Team for 2024 and 2025.

Boilard was recently racing the Tour de France Femmes, where she came 34th overall, the second best result on her team and the third highest Canadian (Clara Emond and Oliva Baril were ahead of her on GC). She gave the best Canadian result on Stage 3.

The 23 year old spent two years with St Michel–Mavic–Auber93 after joining from her club Team Macadam’s Cowboys. Last season she placed 4th overall in the seven-stage UCI 2.1-rated Tour Cycliste Féminin International de l’Ardèche and was runner up to Grace Brown in the one-day La Périgord Ladies.

Boilard is off to the Road World Championships for the second consecutive year.

So far Dutch rider Teuntje Beekhuis of Jumbo-Visma is Uno-X’s only other 2024 transfer.
