Experienced slopestyle rider Greg Watt is returning to the Vancouver based Sombrio Cartel. The 12 year pro is an adrenaline junkie and off the bike enjoys riding motorcycles, fishing, working on random projects around the house, building jumps, and pursuing whatever else fuels his adrenaline addiction.

Watt is a former Sombrio Cartel rider and is returning to pursue his slopestyle career with the Canadian based brand.

“I’m pumped to be back wearing Sombrio,” said Watts. “Sombrio supported me a few years back and I grew up watching videos of Dave Watson at the top of his career. It was rad to be involved with his brand.”

In 2002, Dave Watson gapped the Tour de France on the Col de Galibier. Here is an old promotional video featuring Greg Watt when he was riding for Haro bikes.

Greg has incredible energy,” said Ian Domaas, the vice-president and general manager of Sombrio. “We’re excited to start a new chapter with him as we grow the Sombrio Cartel family. Greg will play an integral role in the development of our freeride and lifestyle collection.”

Watts says riding is, “What keeps me sane and centered. Without biking, I’d be an agitated unhappy human.” This season he will be competing at all the Crankworx stops, A. T.’s Showdown, Swatch Prime Line, and the Colorado Freeride Festival.
