Cyclocross

South Surrey, B.C., will host the Canadian cyclocross championships for the second year in a row. The best mudders in the country will compete for a national title on Nov. 30 at the South Surrey Athletic Park near White Rock.

“Cycling B.C. is honoured to partner with Cycling Canada and the local community to host the Canadian Cyclocross Championships in British Columbia. This is the second year that the Championships will be in British Columbia, and we appreciate everyone’s efforts to make this event a successful event,” said Richard Wooles, Cycling B.C.‘s executive director.

Last year, Geoff Kabush (Scott-3Rox Racing) won his third elite men’s national cyclocross title ahead of Chris Sheppard (Rocky Mountain) and Derrick St. John (Stevens presented by The Cyclery). Mical Dyck (Stan’s No Tubes) won the elite women’s title ahead of Wendy Simms and Emily Batty (Trek).
