You know you’ve made it when there’s an electric road sign with your name on it. Primož Roglič won the Giro d’Italia in glorious fashion, taking the penultimate stage, a time trial, over Geraint Thomas, stealing the lead.

Apparently, some Slovenians like to speed and it’s becoming a problem. In 2022, there were more than 900 speeders a day. Data collected stated that there were 3,500 accidents on Slovenian roads, an increase of 17 per cent over 2021.

Zlatko Čajić posted a photo of a sign he spotted on a Slovenian highway. “Leave the racing to Roglič,” the sign read. If you’re wondering why it’s in English, that’s because it rotates between that and Slovenian.

Hopefully this will slow down some speed demons. Roglič, on the other hand, can keep tearing it up on the bike.
