A wet, 70 km stage saw a new leader of the Tour de Beauce emerge, Ontario’s Luke Valenti (Ecoflo Chronos). Project Echelon’s Tyler Stites won the stage from a break of four. Overall leader Carson Miles did everything he could to finish fourth, but but now slips to third overall. Sliding into second is Cycling BC’s Evan Russell, who is having a great Beauce.

Valenti also takes the best young rider jersey, with Russell leading points, and Cycling BC’s Eric Inkster still leads the mountains competition.

Sunday sees the final stage in St. Georges. In the last ten editions, the lead has changed six times, so prepare for some fireworks as Ecoflo Chronos attempts to bring it home.
