Travis McCabe sprints to victory on Stage 3 of the Le Tour de Langkawi

American continues Floyd's Pro Cycling's impressive spring with their fourth win of the season

Floyd’s Pro Cycling have come out of the gate in 2019 storming to result after result. The success continued on Monday with American Travis McCabe winning Stage 3 of the Le Tour de Langkawi ahead of accomplished sprinters Matteo Pelucchi (Androni Giocattoli-Sidermec) and 24-time Langkawi stage winner Andrea Guardini (Bardiani – CSF).

McCabe had a strong start to the race winning the bunch sprint on Stage 1 finishing second to breakaway rider Marcus Culey (Team Sapura Cycling) who was never brought back by the peloton. McCabe, a winner at the Colorado Classic and two stages of the Tour of Utah in 2018, was a member of the team that helped teammate Jonathan Clarke win the Tour de Taiwan last month while he managed to rack up two fifth places and a sixth along the way.

Already in 2019, Floyd’s have four wins with Alec Cowan winning Stage 4 of the Joe Martin Stage Race along with Clarke’s stage and overall win in Taiwan.
