U23 Update
Update on the U23 Canadian team in Belgium.
The month long Canadian National Cycling Team U23 men’s project ended on Saturday with the 58th edition of the Ronde Van Overijssel in the Netherlands. The UCI class 2 road race rolled through the Overijssel province over main roads, side roads and farmers lanes on decaying cobbles.
The Canadian Team consisted of Keir Plaice, Spencer Smitheman, Antoine Duchesne, Jamie Riggs and Michael Joanisse. Joanisse finished in 36th place.
This race wraps up this April project that saw the athletes compete in a number of races through-out Belgium and Holland.
