Campagnolo Gran Fondo San Diego offers cyclists an authentic Italian bike ride

Italian bicycle component manufacturer, Campagnolo has announced this year’s Campagnolo Gran Fondo San Diego held on April 6 in California. Participants who have a Campagnolo tattoo will be granted free entry to the event and a priority start position.

The event started in 2009, Campagnolo has been involved as a title sponsor for two years. Riders will travel along the west cost shores of southern California, for a breathtaking setting. Event organizers offer the public three challenging routes that include an 38.4, 89.6 and 168 km. Riders will start in Little Italy and travel through the downtown to the East County and back along the coast.

Participants can expect full support during the ride, and will be treated to authentic Italian cuisine and a festival after the event.

Campagnolo Gran Fondo San Diego is a part of a series that also includes events in New York and Rome.
