2012 Kawartha Lakes Cycling Tour

The Kawartha Cycling Club is hosting the Kawartha Lakes Cycling Classic on Sept. 21. The ride will raise mony for A Place Called Home, a charity that provides 24/7 support services to the homeless and those who are at risk of being homeless. A Place Called Home has served the community for 17 years.

This classic is not so much a race as a tour. Special guest Dave Illman, program director and host of Bob’s Breakfast on 91.9FM will be on hand to participate in the day’s events. There will be five courses, 25 km, 50 km, 100 km and 160 km. The fifth and newest edition is the family route, which features a 13 km out-and-back trail ride.

Online registration is available as well as day-of registration. More information can be found at the Kawartha Lakes Cycling Club.
