Tour of Bronte extends early bird registration

Cyclists who want to save on their entry at the Tour of Bronte Bicycle Races and Ride Clinics can do so by signing up through the early bird registration until March 7. The events take place on April 5 and 6 in Bronte Provincial Park in Oakville.

The race is dubbed Ontario’s Strade Bianche because race organizers annually put together a challenging mix of on and off road sections held on a closed eight-kilometre circuit.

Cyclists can sign up for skill-based clinics, including Kid’s Let’s Ride! and Learn to Ride Bronte, held one week before the official events, on March 29.

On Saturday,  April 5, cyclists will have the chance to participate in the annual mountain bike Dirt Dash. On Sunday, April 6, race organizers offer beginner, intermediate and elite road races, with a total of $2,410 in cash prizes.

Cyclists can register on the Tour of Bronte 2014 website.
