Round-up of our favourite Halloween costumes
Ghouls and minions, sumo wrestlers and gladiators all were spotted riding bikes to celebrate Halloween
Most of the year, cyclists are decked out in spandex often adorned with bright colours and logos which to some may appear to be a costume. Halloween is the one time of year when cyclists can dress up like everyone else to celebrate All Hallows’ Eve.
Cyclocross races have taken advantage of the occasion to encourage participants to dress up for their race while others take the initiative on their own. Cyclists in other disciplines also take the opportunity to dress up themselves and sometimes their bike. Check out some of the costumes cyclists shared over the Halloween festivities.
The Midweek Cycling Club hosts weekly cross races in Toronto’s Centennial Park. on Tuesday nights. A posy of youngsters took the opportunity to dress up early.

Over the weekend in Calgary a pair of sumo wrestlers lined up at Bean’s N’ Barley. We wonder how they fared hauling their bulk through the courses tight corners.
