H&R Block presents 2017 kit

Vancouver-based UCI continental team adds blue to palatte

British Columbia-based H&R Block Pro Cycling Team unveiled its 2017 uniform in Vancouver on Thursday. The mostly black Pearl Izumi kit has plenty of green and blue striping in its design.

Team owner Mark Ernsting acknowledged Pearl Izumi’s role on the team: “Pearl Izumi has been an integral and valued partner to the team for the past three seasons.” David Blondel, marketing manager of Pearl Izumi Canada, said, “We are very happy with how the 2017 H&R Block Pro Cycling Team kit came together. Our in-house art department worked closely with the team to produce a design which compliments the aerodynamic fit and function of our PRO level team kit.”

For its third year H&R Block welcomes back Peter Disera, Travis Samuel, Jure Rupnik and Chris Prendergast. Oliver Evans joins the squad from defunct Accent Inns-Russ Hays team. Other new riders are Matt Staples, Marc-Antoine Nadon, Alexis Cartier, Conor O’Brien, Jean-Denis Thibault and Quinton Disera.

Last year the UCI continental outfit raced in the San Dimas Stage Race, the Redlands Cycling Classic, the Sea Otter Cycling Classic, the Joe Martin Stage Race, Tour of the Gila, Tour de Beauce and Tour of Alberta.
