Interview: Ryder Hesjedal at Stage 2 of the Tour of Alberta

Before Thursday’s Stage 2 of the Tour of Alberta, CCM correspondent Jeff Bartlett met with Garmin-Sharp rider and 2012 Giro d’Italia winner Ryder Hesjedal.

The day before, Hesjedal attacked and crossed the finished line in Camrose, Alta., on the penultimate lap through the town. He mistakenly thought that it was the final lap and that he won. In this video, Hesjedal shows his easy-going, good-natured humour about the mishap. “I guess I figured out the code for cracking Sagan,” Hesjedal said, “just get him early.”
