Interview: Brent Bookwalter at the 2013 Tour of Alberta

In a prescient conversation with CCM‘s Jeff Bartlett before Stage 3 of the Tour of Alberta, Brent Bookwalter spoke of his ambitions at the race in Western Canada. “Fifth is better than sixth but it’s still not the podium or the win,” Bookwalter said. “We’re ambitious and we’re going to try and move up if we can and maybe get a stage win along the way.” Later that day, the BMC rider made it to the second spot on the podium in Drumheller, Alta., which also moved him to second place in the general classification.
