Raphaël Gagné, 2015 Canadian elite men’s cyclocross champion

Raphaël Gagné has had a really good year. He won the US Cup. He won the Canadian cross country championships. And, of course, he won gold at the Pan Am Games in XC. While Gagné sees the Pan Am victory as the high point of the year, his national cyclocross title, is quite special. “It’s the cherry on the cake,” he said. Gagné had the support of his team on the course in Winnipeg. Red Truck-Garneau presented by Easton is a new Canadian outfit focused solely on ‘cross. Fellow teammate Michael van den Ham worked with Gagné toward the win. “Mike was riding really strong physically and technically, so it was just so good to have him out there with me,” Gagné said.
