Watch 100 seconds of Brandon Semenuk tricking it out

Raw 100 is a video series that challenges filmakers to capture slick rides simply

In a 100 second entry into Redbull’s Raw 100 series, Brandon Semenuk a freeride mountain biker from Whistler, B.C. shows off his slick skills. You may remember Semenuk from the one breathtaking continually-shot sequence released in 2015 and captured in Cambria, California. That ride was as technically difficult to set-up and capture as it probably was for Semenuk to ride.

The Raw 100 series challenges filmmakers to capture 100-seconds of video none of which is allowed to be in slow motion and no music can be used. Experiencing the sounds of the ride at real speed, watch Semenuk tackle an old downhill BMX course in California that has not been used for competition since the discipline was an X Games event.

Semanuk shows off some jaw-dropping moves in the video such as a one footed can-can out of a berm. The film was shot by Rubert Walker. The simplicity of the video really allows the skills displayed to shine.

Another entry in the Raw 100 video series is of Finnley Iles shot by TOPO Films tackling a DH course in British Columbia. The Whistler resident has a series of strong results in 2016 including wins in the junior men’s category at the DH World Cup in Fort William, Scotland and Lourdes, France. Iles also had a second place at the Leogang World Cup in 2016.
