Is this core routine why Peter Sagan is so good?
Three-time world champion shows off his insane core and stretching routine
Peter Sagan has solidified his legacy in cycling with three world championship titles, five Tour de France green jerseys, and Monument wins at the 2016 Tour of Flanders and 2018 Paris-Roubaix. The Slovaks palmarès continues to grow and to maintain such a high level of fitness, Sagan does a pretty insane core workout.
In a recent video filmed with a GoPro posted on Sagan’s social media channels, he gives fans insight into the types of stretches and exercises he uses to strengthen his body off the bike. While workouts on the bike are important to performance, Sagan’s bike handling ability and sheer strength elevate his performances to new levels.
Peter Sagan will be lining-up at the 2018 Tour de France with ambitions to win a sixth green jersey and add to his eight stage wins.
