International soccer star Lionel Messi was spotted out enjoying the roads of Argentina by bike on Wednesday. Although it’s still not official, Messi is expected to make his MLS debut for Inter Miami on July 21. According to several reports, the managing owner of Inter Miami CF says that Messi has agreed to terms and is finalizing paperwork and a visa.

The team confirmed that Messi’s contract will be worth $50 million to $60 million per year, but he cannot formally sign until sometime in July, after his contract with Paris Saint-Germain ends. The Argentine forward recently played a game in Beijing, where his squad beat Australia 2-0. Following the match, the 35-year-old returned to his home country to enjoy some quality time with his family.

Messi, his wife Antonela Roccuzzo, and their three kids stayed in Funes, a small town just outside Rosario. A fan spotted Messi, Roccuzzo, and son enjoying the day on two wheels. As you can imagine, the fan filmed the ride for posterity (and perhaps to get some clicks.) Eventually, the famous forward notices that he and his family are being filmed, and with a smile, acknowledges their presence and waves goodbye before continuing on his way.
