Strava art created in support of the Toronto Maple Leafs playoff run

Pair of Leafs fans write 'Buds All Day' on their ride through the streets of Toronto

Toronto Maple Leafs

Toronto Maple Leaf fans are gearing up for the 2018 Stanley Cup championships. The Leafs play the Boston Bruins in the first round with the seven-game series opener on Thursday at 7 pm EST. A pair of dedicated Leafs fans headed out for a bike ride on Tuesday on a carefully planned route. The intent of their ride, which they posted to Strava, was to show the support they have for their beloved Toronto Maple Leafs writing ‘Buds All Day’ in their 26.8-km ride.

Geoff Loughton and Al Sovran are certainly big Leafs fans who planned their 61 turn route through the streets of Toronto to perfect demonstrate their support. The Strava art read ‘Buds All Day’ because the pair grew up in the 90s and 2000s when Mats Sundin, Curtis Joseph and the Leafs made it to the conference finals against the Sabres and Hurricanes. “For us, the Buds have always been All Day,”  Loughton explained on his blog.
