Watch Romain Bardet and Kevin Vermaerke just rip it down a Californian descent

YouTuber Safa Brian tailed French rider Romain Bardet and American Kevin Vermaerke in California and their descending is a thing of beauty.

“I had the pleasure of linking up with two of Team DSM’s WorldTour riders to film them on the wonderful Mulholland Highway in Malibu. Despite a strong headwind these guys kept the hammer down and took all the major KOMs on their way,” read the caption.

In February, Safa Brian posted a video riding behind Tom Pidcock descending the Tuna Canyon in Los Angeles. The clip quickly went viral. Just like that video with the Ineos – Grenadiers rider, the social media favourite filmed the descent with the Team DSM riders on his helmet cam.

Both Bardet and Vermaerke are lining up for the 2023 Tour de France, which starts on July 1 in Bilbao, Spain. The first stage is a 182-km hilly race, as opposed to a more traditional prologue.
